Privacy (stock)

Generic text for this NikkeNet hub instance. Override with data/legal/privacy.md. Not legal advice.

This hub stores console account credentials (hashed), session cookies (essential, HttpOnly), client keys, published union snapshots, optional Discord user ids and nicknames when linked, pending login tickets (short TTL, hashed), and operational logs needed to run the service.

Data is used only to operate the invite-only hub for officers and linked members. It is not sold. There is no advertising or third-party analytics in the stock hub UI.

Retention (stock defaults)

• Console sessions: idle ~1h sliding, absolute ~12h, then deleted.
• Discord / password-approve tickets: ~90 seconds, one-shot, hashed at rest.
• Published union snapshots and Discord link rows: until an officer removes them or the data dir is purged.
• Operational logs: rotated with the hub data directory; ask the operator for practice on this instance.

Ask the hub operator (via your union Discord) for access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
